The Malibu Arts Commission curated a public art installation of artist Derek Schimming at the Malibu City Gallery located at Malibu City Hall. The exhibition will be on display from September 16 through October 25, 2024, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM.

A tribute to a beloved Malibu artist with a deep passion for surfing and belief in its healing powers. Fifteen of Schimming’s large-scale abstract expressionist works will be on display along with various artworks from members of the Malibu Art Association.
